Title: River Erewash catchment management plan : action plan : August 1995
Author: National Rivers Authority Severn-Trent Region
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
The Action Plan for the Erewash catchment is the second stage in the Erewash catchment management process. The plan translates the issues and problems highlighted in the Consultation Report, into actions. These actions are timetabled and costed (where possible) and the NRA aim is to deliver real improvements on the ground. The River Erewash is a small watercourse which passes through a number of urban areas. In the past, the river valley has suffered from the ravages of the industrial revolution. Relicts of past mining and industrial dereliction are evident in many places.
