This brief National Rivers Authority leaflet from the North West Region describes environmental information. The level of interest in environmental issues has increased enormously over recent years. Since its establishment in September, 1989, the NRA has received many thousands of requests for information about the authoritys work from members of the public, the media, students and teachers, pressure groups and MPs to name but a few. The NRAs Public Relations Department here in the North West aims to satisfy the publics huge appetite for information about the regions water environment in a number of ways: Leaflets: A wide range of leaflets, information sheets and fact packs are available. These explain, in detail, the different aspects of the authoritys work.
