Abstract:
This document contains eight appendices. The first relates to the planning responsibilities on the Thames, including Local Government and the National Rivers Authority. Appendix two contains the results of a survey undertaken by Thames Club. The third appendix details the number of moorings on the Thames. Appendix four and five show the results of surveys of who boats on the Thames and the commercial operators on the river. Appendix six details information on associations related to the Thames, appendix seven looks at water sports centres on the Thames and the final appendix looks at funding options for recreation schemes on the Thames.
