Of these a total of 11 have now been completed and 108 programmed specific actions are underway and on schedule. Progress has been made on all these actions. We have not progressed according to plan with 7 actions, but work will continue on them. There are 9 actions which are scheduled to start in the coming years and 1 new action has been added following consultation. The plan will be reviewed again in January 1998. Work on the development of a.Local Environment Agency Plan will commence in April 1998 building upon the success of the Catchment Management Plan and will lead to further protection and improvement of the environment.
