Winter oilseed rape

Definition (http://www.oilseedrape.org.uk)

Oilseed rape (Brassica napus) is an arable crop grown specifically for the oil contained within the seed (e.g. cooking oils and margarines), however the meal left after oil extraction is utilised as a high protein animal feed. Winter oilseed rape is sown in late summer to early autumn and requires a period of cold (‘vernalisation’) to flower in the following year.
