SEFS (Symposium for European Freshwater Sciences)

SEFS is Europe's largest forum for freshwater science, which brings together scientists from numerous aquatic disciplines.  Symposia are held every two years, in a different European city on each occasion. The series is coordinated by the European Federation for Freshwater Sciences (EFFS) - see below.

EFFS (European Federation for Freshwater Sciences)

The European Federation for Freshwater Sciences (EFFS) is a federation of national limnological associations within Europe, of which the FBA is a founder member.  It aims to promote cooperation between European freshwater scientists and is responsible for convening the Symposia for European Freshwater Sciences (SEFS).
