Abstract:
The bathing waters at Mothecombe foiled to comply with the bathing water directive in 1986 and 1994. In 1989, a survey was carried out that concluded that contaminated water from the Erme estuary was one cause o f bathing water failure at Mothecombe (Report TWU/89/11). In 1992, four small surveys were carried out (Draft report TWU/93/28) to assess the impact of different inputs to the estuary and river Erme.
