Title: Conservation access recreation annual report 95-96
Author: National Rivers Authority
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
The NRA has forged strong links with the community it serves through initiatives such as Catchment Management Plans and a policy of collaboration with others concerned with Recreation and Conservation. The NRA has, in particular; formed a productive relationship in all regions with local authorities and county wildlife trusts and this has resulted in numerous collaborative projects to improve the conservation value and recreational opportunity in many areas. Working together with these and other groups has meant a pooling of expertise and resources thereby creating real improvements which are valued by the community. This report describes recreation, conservation, fisheries and navigation activities of the NRA.
