Author: National Rivers Authority Thames Region
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
The NRA has come a long way in five years. It has built an international reputation for successful management in protecting and improving the water environment. People now know the NRA uses a varied approach - collaborating with others but not afraid to regulate and enforce where necessary. Major steps have been taken to give impetus to the long-term task of improving the quality of water for inland and coastal waters in England and Wales. This document reviews the National River Authority's efforts during the last year.
