The Upper Wye Catchment Management Consultation Report is the NRA's assessment of the state of the catchment and identifies the key issues which need to be resolved. The most important are outlined in the tables at the end of this summary report. The lower Wye catchment will be covered in a subsequent document. The River Wye rises on Plynlimon in the Cambrian Mountains and winds its way through an area displaying upland scenery and deep cut valleys.
