Title: Glaslyn, Dwyryd, Artro catchment management plan : consultation report May 1995
Author: National Rivers Authority Welsh Region
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
This consultation document presents a number of issues and options for the future management of the Glaslyn/Dwyryd/Artro catchments, and is based on a detailed study carried out by the NRA during 1994. A number of proposals are presented for comment and it is intended that, following consultation with you and other river users, a final action plan will be presented which will seek to manage conflicts in river use and optimise the overall benefits to all river users within the catchment. The Final Action Plan will steer us in developing our own management programme for the catchment and guiding us in the way we respond to any development proposals. This consultation document is divided into 2 parts: part I presents the range of management issues, and options to address them, that have been identified by the NRA; part II provides background information on the approach we took in developing this plan, including information on identified water Uses (including those to be incorporated in the new WQO scheme) and the statutory and informal targets required to support them.
