Author: N. Hicks
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
The Holcombe stream is a small watercourse that rises just to the North of Teignmouth. The stream flows East for approximately 1.5 kilometres passing through the small village of Holcombe and then on to the sea. There is an historical problem with water quality on the Holcombe stream. An investigation was carried out in 1993 by Mr C Martin, Devon Area Investigation Officer. He compiled a report highlighting the various potential problems. The mam cause for concern was the South West Water sewerage pumping station located at Smugglers Lane Holcombe.
