Definition (

The River Ingrebourne begins its 27 mile journey near Brentwood, Essex, rising in Warley. It is joined by its main tributary, the Weald Brook, just after it passes beneath the M25. From here it passes alongside the urban areas of Harold Park and Harold Wood, its second tributary, Carter’s Brook (becoming the Paine’s Brook), joining here. (EA)
