Among animals, researchers have observed monogamy, promiscuity, sex between species, sexual arousal from objects or places, sex apparently via duress or coercion, copulation with dead animals, homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual sexual behaviour, situational sexual behaviour, and a range of other practices.
